Last night Tony and I decide to christen our new patio cover by having a malted beverage under it. We put the candles in my beautiful new candle-abra and sat to enjoy the unseasonably warm evening (the porch heater was still on, let's not be hasty in calling it Spring or anything.)
Anyway - the kids walked directly to the edge of the porch, saw the abundance of stars in the night sky and began reciting this poem...
Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight.
I wish I may, I wish I might
I wish it was Christmas every day.
Despite all of our recent work, I don't think they 'get' rhymes yet.
The staining begins...
