I've got the kids parked in front of a new movie - that should keep them busy for about an hour and a half. Just call me Uber Mom (for further evidence, please see previous posts).
Texas Instruments, where I worked for 12 years, Tony worked for 7 and my brother is still employed, is having some pretty massive lay-offs today. I've already heard about many friends being laid off but am sitting at my PC waiting for emails to be answered to find out about the rest. Talk about a helpless feeling. Not as helpless as actually loosing your job, I know. But having to sit at home and not know what is going on is really making me nuts.
Good luck to all my friends and family at TI.
