Is not as exciting as I was led to believe it would be. The children don't come near as close to death near as often as I feared they would. I thought it would be a constant battle not to rip their cute little heads off... as it turns out, they really only cheat death about 1-2 times a week, and usually just one at a time. So far, I can handle that.
Today we got Landry a 'wedge' hair cut. It's super cute and if I was smart enough, I'd post a picture. Maybe someday. Let's not rush this blog stuff.
Tony and I have decided that we are the WORST parents ever since we can never remember to bring a camera anywhere we go. In fact, as soon as I get done here, I'm going to drop it in the diaper bag. That is the only way there is any hope of getting pics of these kids unless Karrie (step-mom) is around. Luckily, she has been at most big events and has documented them for me.
This weekend we went to a friend's little boy's bday party - they had a giant bounce house with a water slide. Kids had a ball - too bad there are no pics! :)
This week we have the haircut, swim lessons today, the kids all have summer day camp Tues & Wed, Tony's grandparents are coming to dinner tonight, Uncle Travis to dinner tomorrow night. Then we leave for Grand Lake on Thursday after work. Who has time to hold down a job??
Ok - I have to go break up a fight - so much for 'rest/quiet time' instead of naps.
